Beyond nonprofit leadership, Francis is an innovator at heart. He founded FranTech3D, a social enterprise born from a research collaboration at Yale University, aimed at addressing SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation.
FranTech3D designs affordable, large-capacity water tanks using 3D printing technology to help communities facing water scarcity. The project combines engineering, sustainability, and community partnerships to make water infrastructure more accessible and cost-effective.
His work through FranTech3D was recognized at the New Business Model Challenge (2020) hosted by the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where the project stood out for its potential to make a scalable social impact.
Francis continues to develop this initiative, exploring partnerships with universities, NGOs, and foundations to pilot affordable housing and clean water solutions in underserved areas.
Francis’s background in technology adds a unique dimension to his leadership profile. He has worked as a SQL Server Database Administrator and served as a volunteer instructor for Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals and SQL Server.
He holds a Microsoft AI Certification and continues to advocate for the integration of digital literacy into youth development programs. His technical background helps him approach leadership with a data-driven, systems-oriented perspective.
